My Best Self
What is your Best Self? This isn’t the perfect self or even the higher self.
Your Best Self is a commitment to authentic being able to acknowledge all of who you are and all you have the potential to become.
Your Best Self becomes your focus when you declare always to seek your highest path with deepest intent.
This is not a self making do with a hierarchy which limits and judges.
Instead, this is a self which is boundless and in balance with All That Is.
The Best Self is a journey never completed; always a continual path which reveals the best of your being and becoming.
Here’s the commitment part:
I live my life within the trust of my truth.
I chose within my growing inner awareness.
Because I am present to me.
Because I begin within.
This begins the declaration:
I learn in each moment what my truth is from my open heart and my thoughtful, responsive mind.
I feel my body and acknowledge its intrinsic capacity, beauty, and value.
Every day I do my work to release whatever no longer serves me including outdated stories, limiting beliefs, thoughtless habits, and reactive triggers.
I am learning to be adaptable and flexible as I release the brittleness and blame of ego.
I am resilient and, when challenged, I am losing the habit of immediately blaming and judging myself as worthless.
In my body is strength; in my mind, courage; and in my heart, love.
Given all of this, I make this commitment and this declaration:
Each day I choose steps forward even as events push back because fear is losing its control over me.
For my journey has taught me that life is not about meeting a static standard of perfection.
Instead, I am learning the dynamic wisdom of my soul’s willing integration to be here, now.
My Best Self is a powerful, beautiful work-in-progress, open always to the unexpected shifts of my eternal being and becoming.
My Best Self is the present moment, truthful expression of my body, mind, heart, and soul in balance always with the energy of our magnificent Universe.
I claim my truth.
I unleash the best of me.
I embrace the richness of my life.
I dream, allowing the depths of me to rise and guide.
I am, always, my Best Self.
