The Evolution of Human Communication: From Telepathy to Language
In the earliest incarnations of Earth, humanity's mode of communication was vastly different from what we experience today.
Unlike modern times, where verbal language is the primary means of sharing thoughts and ideas, early humans relied on a more profound connection between their bodies, minds, hearts, and souls.
This article explores the fascinating journey of human communication from its ancient roots in telepathy and body language to the complex verbal systems in use today, delving into the implications this shift has had on the understanding of power and connection.
Ancient Communication: Telepathy and Body Language
In the primordial eras of Earth, humanity did not communicate through spoken words.
Instead, they used a combination of body language, telepathy, and hand signs.
This form of communication was deeply rooted in the cellular memory of the body, allowing for a harmonious and integrated connection with the world around.
Early humans had an extraordinary capacity for long-term memory, which was transmitted from parent to child and embedded in the memory of places.
They often reenacted significant experiences through bodily expressions and hand signs, reinforcing their collective memory and understanding without the need for spoken words.
Music and song existed, but the primary form of communication was this profound, non-verbal connection.
The Birth of Language
Language, as we know it, began as an attempt to imitate the sounds of the stories early humans shared telepathically.
Because of their telepathic abilities, everyone understood these sounds, which gradually evolved into a more structured form of communication.
About 4,000 to 5,000 years ago, humanity underwent a significant shift, elevating the mind and body over the heart and soul.
This change marked the transition from telepathic to verbal communication, fundamentally altering the way humans interacted with one another.
The Shift to Verbal Communication
With the rise of verbal language, communication moved from a shared group experience to individual expression.
The wisdom and experiences of the body became secondary to the language of the mind, leading to a greater emphasis on individual consciousness and awareness.
This shift also introduced layers of meaning and ambiguity, allowing fear to gain a foothold in human interactions.
Previously, ambiguity was simply an awareness of difference.
With verbal language, it became a source of confusion and fear, as the mind struggled to discern right from wrong, and what worked versus what did not.
This change facilitated the emergence of power dynamics characterized by dominance and submission, as opposed to the earlier model of lead and follow, which was based on mutual respect and understanding.
The Impact on Power Dynamics
The evolution of language significantly influenced power dynamics within human societies.
In the earlier telepathic and body-based communication systems, power was about mutual influence and shared wisdom—power with and power within.
However, with the advent of verbal language and the accompanying rise of fear and ambiguity, power over and power under became more prevalent.
This dynamic fostered a culture of dominance and submission, where the experience and wisdom of the body were often dismissed in favor of the mind's interpretations.
As a result, the truthful self and the essential self, which thrived in a connected and harmonious environment, became overshadowed by the deluded self and the dismissed self, both characterized by the struggles for dominance and control.
Reconnecting with Ancient Wisdom

In this exploration of words of personal power, we are looking at language from the perspective of each form of power:
Power Under and the language of the dismissed self, examining how these words perpetuate a state of powerlessness.
Power Over and the language of the deluded self, understanding how it fosters domination.
Power With and the language of the truthful self which connects you with community empowered.
Power Within and the language of the essential self, discovering how this cultivates a genuine sense of personal power.
By the end of this journey, you will have a deeper understanding of how language shapes your experience of power and how to reclaim personal power through conscious and intentional use of words.
This understanding will empower you to navigate the twelve pressure points of modern living with resilience and confidence, fostering a more empowered and authentic self.
